We take the application jungle off your hands

Digitalisation offers mid-sized companies new economic opportunities: innovative business models, more efficient processes, better customer retention. Yet studies show that many companies struggle with digital upgrades because they lack time, knowledge and resources.

What's less well known: companies in Germany can obtain public grants for their digitalisation projects, and with the right choice of programmes often even in combination. Our mission is to make these funds accessible to you without you having to fight your way through complex applications.

Consulting, application preparation and project management all sit with one team here, and we accompany you from the first conversation through approval to successful delivery.

Possible funding programmes

Two programmes we combine most often. They address different aspects of your digitalisation project and can frequently be used in parallel.

BAFA funding

Germany-wide funding of external consulting services for small and medium-sized enterprises, freelancers and solo self-employed: the programme "Förderung von Unternehmensberatungen für KMU", valid until the end of 2026. Typical use cases: digitalisation and IT security consulting, website audits, initial consulting and technical concepts by listed consulting providers.

Digitalisierungsfinanzierung

State funding by the L-Bank in Baden-Württemberg for digitalisation investments and IT security in SMEs, successor to the Digitalisierungsprämie Plus since July 2025. It combines a low-interest loan with a repayment subsidy (still called "Digitalisierungsprämie"). Ideal for capital projects such as online shop setups, new CMS platforms, custom software modules or comprehensive employee training.

Who is eligible for funding?

Public digitalisation funding is open to different company types and industries. These are the most common constellations we support:

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

The main target group of most funding programmes: companies below certain headcount and revenue thresholds. The programmes are specifically designed to support SMEs in their digitalisation.

Large companies

Larger companies benefit from funding programmes too, especially for digitalisation measures that secure jobs, save energy or strengthen competitiveness.

Startups and founders

Startups and young companies benefit from dedicated funding programmes, venture capital or incubators to develop digital innovations and bring them to market quickly.

Freelancers & self-employed

Funding is also available for freelancers and the self-employed, above all in digital sectors such as IT, media, design or consulting.

Industry-specific programmes

Some funding programmes are aimed at specific sectors: healthcare, retail, agriculture, education or manufacturing. We check whether a sector-specific programme fits your industry better than the general ones.

Regional & local programmes

German states, regions and municipalities run their own funding programmes to accelerate digitalisation in specific areas. These programmes are often less well known, and precisely for that reason frequently approved faster.

FAQ

When is funding advisory worth it?
If you have a concrete digitalisation project (a website relaunch, custom software, an online shop, training) and don’t know which funding programmes might apply. And if you’re unsure whether your company meets the requirements for a specific programme, a quick preliminary check on our side saves you a lot of time.
Which funding programmes do you cover?
We know the common Germany-wide and state-level programmes around digitalisation, for example the BAFA programme “Förderung von Unternehmensberatungen für KMU” (consulting grants for SMEs) and, in Baden-Württemberg, the L-Bank’s Digitalisierungsfinanzierung (successor to the Digitalisierungsprämie Plus since July 2025). Which programmes fit in a given case depends on company size, location and project scope; we assess that individually.
Do you handle the application completely?
Yes. If you want, we take over the entire communication with the funding institutions, from the preliminary check through drafting the application to submission. If needed, we also support the proof-of-use documentation after project completion.
What does funding advisory cost?
An initial assessment of your eligibility is free of charge. Follow-up services (detailed consulting, application, support) are billed by effort based on an estimate agreed in advance; you receive a written estimate before anything is invoiced.
What happens if the application is rejected?
We check eligibility and requirements very carefully before submitting, so rejections are rare. Should it happen anyway, we analyse the reasoning together with you. Often an application can be resubmitted with adjustments, or another programme comes into play.
