We examine your website down to the last detail: technology, SEO, UX, security and GDPR. Within a few days you receive a clean report with prioritised recommendations.

Where your website leaves potential untapped

In everyday business a website often feels like it "just works", until load times cost conversions, an outdated plugin becomes a security hole, or rankings collapse after a Google update. Our express audit reveals where the real risk lies and where the biggest lever sits.

We combine technical checks with an honest assessment of user experience, content and conversion strategy. If our development team finds critical gaps, we can fix them right afterwards, with clear recommendations on what takes priority and what can wait.

You don't get an automated tool export but a report an experienced developer has worked through. That's exactly why the express audit is often the right first step before a relaunch, a migration or a hosting move.

What our express website audit covers

Nine dimensions in which we examine your website, combinable into a full audit or individually, depending on where you need clarity right now.

Technical performance

Thorough examination of load times, server responses, caching and the general technical health of your website, including Core Web Vitals and critical rendering paths.

Backend check

Status-quo report on themes, extensions and plugins: are they current, secure, compatible? We surface pending updates, deprecated APIs and potentially risky extensions.

User experience (UX)

Analysis of usability, navigation and user guidance, with concrete recommendations for higher conversion rates and lower bounce rates.

Content assessment

Review of your content for relevance, quality and alignment with your goals. Where is sharpening worthwhile, where is content missing, and where does it dilute your core message?

Security assessment

Identification of potential vulnerabilities: headers, authentication, exposed endpoints, known CVEs in your stack. We deliver a prioritised risk list instead of a tool dump.

Mobile optimisation

Assessment of mobile usability for an optimal fit across devices, from touch behaviour through reading flows to actual performance on 4G.

Conversion analysis

We evaluate your conversion strategy: where do users drop off, which CTAs pull, which hurdles slow things down? Concrete levers instead of generic "best practices".

SEO analysis

Evaluation of your SEO strategy, keyword optimisation, technical factors and backlink profile, as the foundation for lasting visibility.

GDPR check

Review of GDPR compliance: cookie banner, tracking, external sources and scripts. Are all third-party integrations implemented in a legally sound way?

How the express audit works

From the first briefing to the written report with prioritised recommendations, in four clearly separated steps.

01

Briefing

In the free initial consultation (30–60 minutes) we clarify goals, pain points and the scope of the audit. Which areas are critical? Where does it hurt right now?

02

Analysis

We examine your website in the agreed dimensions, externally and (with your access) in the backend. Tools deliver raw data that an experienced developer interprets.

03

Report & prioritisation

You receive a written evaluation with clearly prioritised recommendations: what is critical, what makes sense short-term, and what can go on a later roadmap?

04

Implementation (optional)

If you want, we fix critical findings directly, or prepare a follow-up quote for a larger optimisation or relaunch initiative.

When is a website audit worth it?

If you can answer "yes" to one or more of the following questions, the express audit is the right next step:

  • Your load times feel sluggish, but you don't know what's actually causing it?
  • You're planning a relaunch or migration and need a clean assessment of the status quo?
  • Your rankings have dropped and you're looking for the technical or content-related causes?
  • You've taken over the website from another agency and don't know the state of the code?
  • You want to be sure your website is GDPR-compliant and protected against known vulnerabilities?

FAQ

What is included in the express audit?
We examine your website across nine dimensions: technical performance, backend status (themes, plugins, updates), user experience, content, security, mobile optimisation, conversion strategy, SEO and GDPR compliance. You receive a written report with prioritised recommendations: not a standard checklist, but findings specific to your site.
How long does the audit take?
From briefing to the written evaluation usually takes a few working days. For extensive projects, or when deeper security checks (load tests, pentests) are part of the engagement, we agree the timeframe transparently in advance.
Which access do you need from me?
For the purely external analysis, the website URL is enough. For the backend check, the GDPR review and deeper performance analyses we need read access to the CMS backend (e.g. WordPress admin) and, if applicable, to the hosting panel or server logs. We work with time-limited accounts and remove them once we’re done.
Do you also implement the improvements you find?
Yes, if you want. After the audit you receive a prioritised list of measures, and you decide which items you tackle yourself and which we implement. For larger projects we can prepare a follow-up quote based on the findings; you only pay for what we agreed together.
What does the express audit cost?
A flat answer is difficult because the effort depends heavily on the size of your website and how deep the examination should go. In the free initial consultation we outline the scope and estimate the effort transparently; you receive a written estimate before anything is invoiced.
