Cyber security and data backup

In today's connected world, software security is complex, multi-layered and above all not optional. At aceArt we use a range of methods to secure your data and deliver a safe website or software product.

Through website audits and security checks we find vulnerabilities in your system and develop solutions. And should your data ever be lost, you can rely on our backup software and individual backup plans.

Our cyber security methods

Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

With an intrusion detection system we monitor and analyse the activity in your network. Beyond that, we review configurations and weak points: typical attack patterns are recognised, abnormal activity analysed and violations of user policies uncovered.

Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

An intrusion prevention system detects attacks on networks or computer systems. The IPS works actively and automatically takes countermeasures to protect the network. It works hand in hand with the firewall and influences its rule set.

DDoS prevention

A distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack is a flood of data packets sent to an IP address. Normal connections usually can't handle this onslaught. We protect you against DDoS attacks.

Penetration testing (pentest)

In a penetration test we simulate a cyber attack on your computer system to find and document potential vulnerabilities. Possible remediation measures include updates, training, decommissioning or fixes. A pentest is a snapshot in time, not continuous monitoring.

The right backup strategy and choice of backup software

In case your systems are successfully attacked despite everything, you need to be able to rely on stable backups. We help you choose the right backup software and put together a backup plan that fits your needs.

Full backup

The simplest but also most effective backup method. All data on the system is backed up: a complete snapshot.

Differential backup

A full backup is created first, followed by partial backups at regular intervals, for example once a week. The partial backup only saves the data that has been changed or newly created since the last full backup.

Incremental backup

Here too a full backup is needed first. After that, each backup only saves the data changed or created since the previous incremental backup. Compact and fast, but more complex to restore.
