The goal of the relaunch was to improve the usability, design and functionality of the website and thereby optimise the online experience for visitors.
ARADEX AG, based in Lorch, Germany, develops its own inverters, electric motors and DC/DC converters for every kind of electrical energy conversion in mobile applications (work machines, special-purpose vehicles, commercial vehicles and ships).
Product presentation was the top priority. With filterable product category overviews, detailed product views and illustrative graphics, the website encourages users to explore and gather information.
The new design was to be implemented with an easy-to-use page builder. Elementor makes it possible to adjust the website's design simply via a drag-and-drop editor. Beyond that, Elementor offered a wide range of prebuilt templates and widgets that accelerated development and extended the website's functionality.
During the relaunch, the CMS was switched from TYPO3 to WordPress, driven by the wish to extend the website more flexibly and adjust pages independently. Several custom modules were also developed specifically for ARADEX.
