ROTEC GmbH is one of the leading specialists in rope and ropeway technology, with focus areas in rope testing, ropeway maintenance, bridge inspection and crane installation assessment. The website reflects this engineering-driven positioning in a lean, matter-of-fact presence: clear service pillars, dynamic imagery and a consistently structured content architecture.

We implemented the site with WordPress and the Divi theme — as a WordPress multisite together with sister company ROPESYS. WPML provides multilingualism (German / English); a protected customer area offers PDF downloads for existing customers. The team can maintain content independently in the backend.

Fokus

A lean, clear design. Industrial customers frequently land directly on a service page from B2B research or search engine queries. We structured the site so that the six service pillars (rope testing, ropeway installations, consulting, personnel, research & development, ROPESYS equipment) are visible at a glance and each leads to a detail page with a clear description of services.

WordPress multisite with a sister site

Technically, ro-tec.net runs as part of a WordPress multisite that shares infrastructure, plugin stack and the Divi theme with sister company ROPESYS. Updates, security patches and the WPML configuration are maintained centrally; content, language and branding remain independent per site.

Multilingualism via WPML

WPML ensures every content page can be maintained in parallel in German and English, including translated slugs and SEO metadata. Both languages are switched via a language switcher in the navigation.

In addition, there is a protected customer area for PDF downloads, performant caching via WP Rocket, and tracking and newsletter integrations.
