Concept & architecture
We design the sitepackage structure, site sets, TypoScript strategy and extension map. You receive a written effort estimate before anything is invoiced.
Step 03
Design & development
With design partners, a custom design emerges (or we extend an existing Bootstrap sitepackage precisely to your corporate identity). In parallel we build Extbase extensions, integrations and Fluid templates.
Step 04
QA & go-live
Cross-browser tests, performance audits, cache and reverse-proxy strategy verified, a clean 301 redirect concept for migrations, plus a planned go-live window with monitoring.
Step 05
Continuous support & LTS

What we're often asked.
What does a TYPO3 website cost at aceArt?
There's no flat rate for that. Effort and investment depend heavily on multi-site complexity, the number of languages, custom Extbase logic, integrations and design depth. In the free initial consultation we review your project and give a written effort estimate before anything is invoiced.
How long does implementation take?
We deliver smaller presences within a few weeks; a fully-fledged multi-site relaunch with custom extensions and several languages typically within a few months. We agree the concrete timeframe transparently with you in advance.
TYPO3 or WordPress — which CMS fits us?
Both have their strengths. WordPress is excellent for brand websites, blogs and mid-sized portals; TYPO3 plays to its strengths in large multi-site federations, multilingual corporate presences, granular editorial permissions and LTS strategies. We advise you without product bias. Sometimes a custom software solution is the right answer too.

A TYPO3 update or a TYPO3 relaunch — which makes more sense?
If your setup is based on a comparatively current version (v10+) and a clean sitepackage, an LTS update frequently suffices. With heavily grown legacy instances carrying a thick plugin layer or outdated TYPO3 versions, a relaunch is often faster and safer. We run a technical status check before onboarding and tell you honestly what makes sense.

What does your maintenance and LTS concept look like?
Security patches go in promptly, critical CVEs even outside the regular maintenance windows. Larger updates (minor and LTS jumps) are tested on a staging environment, documented, and moved into production after approval. We deliberately keep the lifecycle on the respectively current LTS version and actively follow the official TYPO3 security advisories.

Can you take over our existing TYPO3 installation?
Yes, even if it runs on older TYPO3 versions. Existing projects are a fixed part of our offering. Before onboarding we run a technical status check (code base, sitepackages, extension state, vulnerabilities, hosting) so it's clear where we stand. Based on the findings, we agree the support scope and, where needed, an LTS migration plan.
Do you also handle web design?
We work closely with our design partners from the Stuttgart network, or extend an existing TYPO3 sitepackage precisely to your corporate identity. Design and build come from the same team, so the result stays consistent even when our focus is on the technical side.

Is your TYPO3 website accessible per BITV or BFSG?
Precisely in the government and corporate environment, where TYPO3 is traditionally strong, we accompany both the public sector's BITV 2.0 obligation and the BFSG for the private sector. That includes a technical audit against WCAG 2.1 AA, implementation in the sitepackage and, where legally required, a maintained accessibility statement.

TYPO3 ships with a very solid basis for search engine optimisation. Structured data, clean URL configuration, multilingual hreflang setups and performance optimisation are on-board tools.
