Do you have an office in Tübingen?
No. Our only location is Stuttgart-Feuerbach. Tübingen is 45 minutes away, so we come in person for the kickoff, workshops and sign-offs, and work remotely the rest of the time.
How do you handle German and English side by side?
Through the TYPO3 language management, not through two separate websites. The page structure exists once, each language hangs off it and can carry its own content. Where a translation is missing, you decide per area whether the German version is passed through or the item is hidden.
How do you set permissions when many working groups contribute?
We cut editorial groups along your organisation and tie them to page trees rather than to individual pages. Anyone leaving a group loses access automatically, and nobody has to maintain permissions one by one. For approvals a workspace can be put in front of the live site.
Can we take over publications and people from an existing system?
Usually yes. We look at what the source delivers and connect it through an interface instead of having somebody retype data. What matters is deciding beforehand which system holds the truth, because data maintained in two places always drifts apart.
