In the Rems-Murr district with its county seat Waiblingen, machine and tool building shape the mid-market, and many of these firms have been around for decades. Their websites grew along: first the main site, then a page for a second brand, plus a careers section someone else looks after. In the end several sites sit side by side that share nothing technically and still carry the same contacts, locations and job ads.

No, we keep no second address in the Rems-Murr district; at this distance it would be pure decoration. The desks are in Stuttgart-Feuerbach and that is where they stay. For the kickoff, workshops and handover we drive over.
We run several brands. Does each need its own TYPO3 installation?
Rarely. TYPO3 manages several websites in one instance, each with its own domain, its own navigation and its own editorial team. Shared content such as contacts or job ads is then maintained once. Separate installations only pay off when genuinely nothing is shared.
How do you control who may change what in the backend?
Through groups rather than by word of mouth. Every area gets its editors, its approval step and its slice of the page tree. Anyone who only posts news never sees the templates for everything else. That takes the uncertainty out and prevents edits in places nobody meant to touch.
Will you take over a TYPO3 installation someone else built?
Yes, often enough. We first review the sitepackage, the extensions in use and the state of the core version. Out of that comes a list of what hurts right away and what can wait. Who originally built the site plays no part in it.
